While we take every precaution to ensure that your vehicle is delivered in the same condition as when it was picked up, Spec Finder is not responsible for damages resulting from factors beyond our control, including, but not limited to, accidents, weather conditions, or delays caused by the carrier.
We will assist in filing claims with the carrier’s insurance company if damage occurs during transport, but we are not liable for any loss or damage to personal property left inside the vehicle.
2. Insurance Coverage
All vehicles transported by our carriers are covered by standard shipping insurance for damages incurred during transport. However, we are not responsible for:

Minor damages such as scratches, dents, or chips that may occur during transit, especially on open transport.

Mechanical or electrical issues that may arise after shipment.

Custom, aftermarket parts or modifications not declared before shipping.
If you require additional or supplemental insurance for higher-value vehicles or custom-built cars, please let us know at the time of booking.
3. Non-Operational Vehicles
Vehicles that are not in running condition (non-operational) or cannot be driven onto the transport truck may require special arrangements. An additional fee may apply for these services, and the customer assumes responsibility for the condition and any related charges.
Spec Finder does not guarantee the transport of non-operational vehicles and cannot be held liable for delays, damages, or inability to transport such vehicles.
4. Delivery Timeframe
The estimated delivery timeframe provided is based on normal conditions. Spec Finder is not liable for any delays due to:

Weather-related incidents.

Traffic conditions or road closures.

Carrier-related issues such as mechanical failure, vehicle breakdowns, or other unforeseen circumstances.
We will keep you informed of any changes to the estimated delivery date but do not guarantee a specific delivery timeframe.
5. Vehicle Condition Upon Pickup
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the vehicle is ready for transport at the time of pickup. Spec Finder is not liable for:

Damages or issues resulting from the vehicle not being prepared, such as having personal belongings inside the vehicle, inadequate fuel levels, or failure to remove aftermarket parts.

Vehicles that do not meet the minimum operational standards required for transport.
A pre-shipment inspection will be conducted at pickup. We encourage customers to take photographs of their vehicle prior to shipping for documentation purposes.
6. Vehicle Modifications
Customers must disclose any vehicle modifications (including oversized tires, custom bodywork, and non-standard parts) prior to scheduling shipment. Failure to do so may result in delays or additional fees. Spec Finder is not responsible for damages caused by the transport of modified vehicles that were not properly disclosed.
7. Pickup and Delivery
Spec Finder will make reasonable efforts to pick up and deliver the vehicle to the address provided by the customer. However, we do not guarantee access to all locations. In some cases, vehicles may need to be picked up or delivered at a nearby location for safety reasons or due to logistical restrictions.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their vehicles are accessible for transport and must provide a valid address that is serviceable by the carrier.
8. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations before pickup: If a shipment is canceled within 24 hours of booking, a full refund minus any non-refundable deposit will be provided.

Cancellations after 24 hours: If a shipment is canceled after the initial 24-hour window, a cancellation fee will apply based on the stage of the process.

No refunds will be issued if the vehicle has already been picked up or is in transit.
9. Force Majeure
Neither Spec Finder nor its partners shall be held liable for any delays or failure to fulfill shipping obligations caused by events beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, terrorism, government action, civil unrest, or pandemics.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be resolved through arbitration, and not in a court of law. By agreeing to use our services, you waive your right to a jury trial. The location of arbitration will be in Overland Park, Kansas.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
12. Indemnification
The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Spec Finder, its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or losses arising from the transportation of their vehicle, including but not limited to any damage to the vehicle or property during transit, or any failure to disclose necessary information regarding the vehicle.
13. Amendment of Terms
Spec Finder reserves the right to modify or amend this disclaimer at any time. It is the responsibility of the customer to review this policy periodically for any updates or changes. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
14. Severability
If any provision of this disclaimer is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
